What you will need:

  • Lump Crab: 2 (6 oz) cans of lump crab meat. You can also buy this in a container in your seafood department, but this is way more cost effective and absolutely delicious!
  • Fresh produce and herbs: 1 lemon, 2 cloves of garlic, green onions, and fresh italian leaf parsley
  • Cheese: the recipe calls for pecorino romano cheese, but any cheese will do! Parmesan, white cheddar, monterey jack, etc…
  • Salmon -I used almost 2 lbs. of salmon. Buy salmon with the skin on; this helps keep the stuffing inside the salmon. If you do not like the skin, then remove the skin after baking in the oven. It falls off VERY easily. VERY IMPORTANT: Ask the butcher for a thick cut of salmon so you can make slits in the salmon and stuff it.
  • Seasoning:  This recipe calls for Tony’s creole, Sazon, and black pepper,. No salt because the Tony’s and Sazon contain salt already.
