Party Balls

Party balls are the age-old treat that must be served at every party you have! We are right in the middle of football seasons and getting close to the big game day, so now is the time to try out these party balls if you've never had them before. With only five ingredients and some salt and pepper you're going to have enough party balls to feed everyone at the super bowl party! These are so savory and delicious there won't be one left at the end of the big game. I used hot breakfast sausage for this recipe, but certainly you can use mild or any flavor you like. The hot breakfast sausage just adds a little flavorful kick to your sausage party balls. These are so super easy I cat wait for us to get started! Let's make it!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hot breakfast sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 11.36 oz box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
  • 8 oz freshly shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 4-5 stalks of green onions sliced

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add uncooked breakfast sausage, softened cream cheese, Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix and the seasoning packet, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and cracked black pepper. Use an electric hand mixer and beat that together on a LOW speed until combined. Now, add in the sliced green onions and using your hands fold them into the sausage mixture until everything is incorporated.
  • Line two baking sheets with parchment and begin rolling the sausage biscuit mixture into 1-inch balls. Place all of the sausage balls on the lined baking sheets leaving about 1 inch of space between each ball. Now place the baking sheets in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Bake in the oven at 400°F for 20-22 minutes.
