Preheat the oven to 375° F
Using a potato peeler, sharp knife, or apple corer cut out the core of the apple leaving the bottom of the apple intact. Try to scoop out all of the seeds.
Mix together the pecans, raisins, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Combine very well.
Stuff each apple with: 1/2 tbsp butter, then with the pecan mixture,
finally 1 tbsp of butter on top.
Assemble in a baking dish.
Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar over the top of the apples.
Pour about 3/4 cup of boiling water into the baking dish.
Bake at 375° F for about 40-45 minutes or until you can easily poke through the apples with a toothpick or knife.
Slice in half, top with ice cream, and enjoy the BEST Fall dessert! Make it!!
