Ingredients
  

  • 4-6 Apples Roma & Golden Delicious
  • 1/4 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar heaping
  • 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 4-6 tbsp of butter
  • 3/4 cup of boiling water
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar & cinnamon for sprinkling over the top of the apples before baking

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375ยฐ F
  • Using a potato peeler, sharp knife, or apple corer cut out the core of the apple leaving the bottom of the apple intact. Try to scoop out all of the seeds.
  • Mix together the pecans, raisins, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Combine very well.
  • Stuff each apple with: 1/2 tbsp butter, then with the pecan mixture,
  • finally 1 tbsp of butter on top.
  • Assemble in a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar over the top of the apples.
  • Pour about 3/4 cup of boiling water into the baking dish.
  • Bake at 375ยฐ F for about 40-45 minutes or until you can easily poke through the apples with a toothpick or knife.
  • Slice in half, top with ice cream, and enjoy the BEST Fall dessert! Make it!!
