Bubble Up Bean Bake

It's barbecue season and it's time to make the best Bubble Up Bean Bake. This dish is absolutely delicious and It’s ridiculously easy, made with simple pantry ingredients, and the flavor is next level thanks to Dano’s Sweet & Tangy Barbecue Outlaw Seasoning. Everything goes straight into the baking dish, no extra bowls required. It bakes up bubbly, thick, and caramelized around the edges — the kind of beans people scoop up seconds (and thirds) of.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 16-oz cans baked beans (I used Bush’s Original)
  • ¼ cup real bacon pieces or about 5–6 strips cooked and chopped bacon
  • ¼ cup diced yellow onion
  • cup barbecue sauce I used Sweet Baby Ray’s
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dano’s Sweet & Tangy Barbecue Outlaw Seasoning
  • ½ tablespoon additional seasoning for topping
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In an 8x8 baking dish, combine the baked beans, bacon, diced onion, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and Dano’s Sweet & Tangy Barbecue Outlaw Seasoning.
  • Stir everything together directly in the baking dish until well combined.
  • Drizzle the yellow mustard lightly over the top — just a little razzle-dazzle drizzle.
  • Sprinkle the remaining seasoning evenly over the top.
  • Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until the beans are hot, bubbly, and slightly caramelized around the edges.
  • Remove from the oven and serve warm.
