Cowboy Butter Sliders

These Cowboy Sliders are so delicious and will make you go crazy! It's so juicy but yet the bread is still crispy, It's the perfect combination of seasonings and ingredients to make you a perfect meal for a pool, boat or even for just a dinner. The meat in it is so tender and delicious it melts in your mouth and taste's so good. If you like smash burgers you'll love the meat in these sliders because they taste the exact same. Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 - 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 pack Kings Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/2 tsp Lawrys seasoning
  • 6 slices yellow American cheese
  • 1/4 of a white onion chopped
  • 10-12 dill pickle chips
  • 1 stick + 2 tbsp salted butter divided
  • 6 - 8 garlic cloves minced
  • Juice & zest of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh parlsey chopped
  • 1 tsp dried chives
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds optional

Instructions
 

  • To make the cowboy butter, In a pan add in 1 stick of butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, dijon, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, cayenne, paprika, dried chives, dried thyme, and fresh parsley. Stir together and cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes until garlic is translucent.
  • Pour half the cowboy butter into a 9x13 baking dish, so the butter covers the bottom.
  • Add your ground chuck over the cowboy butter and evenly press it down to the bottom of the dish.
  • Shake the Lawrys seasoning over the meat and bake it at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls open and spray a new baking dish with cooking spray. Place the bottom buns in the baking dish and add on the slices of American cheese.
  • When your meat patty is done remove it from baking dish letting excess oil drip off the meat and add it on top of the American cheese. Place the onions and dill pickle chips over the meat patty.
  • On the top buns evenly spread on the remaining cowboy butter and top the sliders with the top buns.
  • Melt 2 tbsp of butter, brush it over the top buns, and sprinkle sesame seeds over the top. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Enjoy!!
