Method
- Season the Boston Butt roast with cracked pepper and garlic powder. Add the Butt roast into the crock pot.
- Add the contents of the au jus packet & the ranch seasoning packet over the Boston Butt roast. Then, scatter the pepperoncinis in the crock pot around the roast and add in a few tbsp of the juice from the jar, as well.
- Then, top the roast with the cubes of butter.
- Set the crock pot on low and cook for at least 6 hours.
- Serve over mashed potatoes and use the crock pot drippings to serve over the potatoes ad the roast! SO GOOD! MAKE IT!

Notes
- You'll be tempted to add in water...don't do it! Totally unnecessary and you won't get the same result. You'll get plenty of juices from the pork and the butter.
- Best served over mashed potatoes, with the juice from the crockpot poured over the potatoes and the pork. Add a little chopped fresh parsley for garnish.
- If you are looking for that seared topping of the roast like I achieved; DO NOT mix in the seasoning or butter. Just sprinkle both packets over the Butt Roast and then lay the chunks of butter on top! The Pepperoncini's and juice can go around it in the crockpot!
