Crockpot Mississippi Pork Roast
This Crock Pot Mississippi Pork Roast recipe will make your entire house realize how good pork can really taste. It's made traditionally with a chuck roast and it is certainly one of the best crockpot meals round so one of my favorite cuts of meat is a Boston Butt Roast. I decided to do a little experiment with the same method using a Boston Butt Roast. and let me tell you it is just as delicious as a chuck roast. Perhaps Better?

- You'll be tempted to add in water...don't do it! Totally unnecessary and you won't get the same result. You'll get plenty of juices from the pork and the butter.
- Best served over mashed potatoes, with the juice from the crockpot poured over the potatoes and the pork. Add a little chopped fresh parsley for garnish.
- If you are looking for that seared topping of the roast like I achieved; DO NOT mix in the seasoning or butter. Just sprinkle both packets over the Butt Roast and then lay the chunks of butter on top! The Pepperoncini's and juice can go around it in the crockpot!
