Dolly Parton Dump Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 20 oz canned pineapple chunks drained
  • 21 oz canned strawberry pie filling
  • 2 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 box of Dolly Parton's Coconut Cake Mix
  • 3/4 cup butter sliced

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preparing the Oven and Baking Dish
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  • Step 2: Layering the Ingredients
  • Spread the drained pineapple chunks evenly across the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  • Step 3: Adding the Strawberry Pie Filling
  • Pour the entire can of strawberry pie filling over the pineapple chunks, spreading it evenly.
  • Step 4: Arranging the Sliced Bananas
  • Place the sliced bananas on top of the strawberry pie filling, creating a layer that covers the entire dish.
  • Step 5: Adding the Coconut Cake Mix
  • Evenly sprinkle the entire box of Dolly Parton's Coconut Cake Mix over the banana layer.
  • Step 6: Adding the Butter Slices
  • Place the sliced butter evenly on top of the cake mix, covering as much surface area as possible.
  • Step 7: Baking the Dump Cake
  • Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 45-50 minutes or until the top turns golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
  • Step 8: Cooling and Serving
  • Once baked, remove the dump cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy the tropical flavors of this delightful dessert.
