EASY Crockpot Peach Cobbler

This Easy Crockpot Peach Cobbler is the ultimate dump-and-go dessert made with canned peaches, warm cinnamon, and a buttery cake topping.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans of sliced peaches in heavy syrup 15.25 oz. cans
  • 1 tbsp. of cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. of cinnamon divided
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick of butter salted (8 0z.)

Method
 

  1. Spray your crockpot with nonstick spray
  2. Add the contents of 1 entire can of sliced peaches into the crockpot. For the second can, discard the heavy syrup and add the peaches only.
  3. Add the brown sugar, cornstarch, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon to the crockpot and mix well with the peaches.
  4. Top with 1 box of yellow cake mix as evenly as possible. (DO NOT MIX)
  5. Shake over a little more cinnamon on top of the cake mix.
  6. Next, top the cake mix with slices of butter; try to cover evenly
  7. Set the crock pot to high and let it go for 2.5 hours or until browned
  8. Top with whipped cream, ice cream, or cool whip! DELICIOUS!

Notes

  • I used a standard size crockpot: 3.5 qts.
  • Use (2) 15.25 oz. cans of sliced peaches in heavy syrup. Add the full contents of 1 can to the crockpot. For the second can drain out the heavy syrup and discard and only add the peaches.
  • Don't mix in the cake mix, just sprinkle over and flatten as evenly as you can. Then add the slices of butter over the top.
