Common Questions

Can I use fresh or frozen peaches instead of canned?

Yes! Just make sure to add about 1/2–3/4 cup of sugar and a little liquid (like water or juice) since canned peaches already have syrup.

Why do I leave the syrup in one can but drain the other?

This keeps the cobbler from being too watery while still giving you that rich, syrupy base.
