My friends, I've got the absolute best Jiffy Joe dish ready for y'all tonight and I promise you this one is going to be an absolute hit in the house. This dish was made with Jiffy Mix, Manwich Bold, and Original, 1-2 lbs of ground chuck and more. It was so delicious the Jiffy paired perfectly with the ground chuck and had such a perfect mixture of protein and carbs. When I made this dish a while ago I wanted to perfect it down to the seasoning and make sure this dish would be perfect for my peeps. I made this a few times until I came to this recipe I had my kids try it and they freaked out from how good it was. This dish was gone just as fast as it came out of the oven!
seasoning: 1 tsp of garlic powder1 tsp of smoked paprika, 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a cast iron, brown up ground beef and break it up with a meat masher. Brown it with the seasonings listed, a chopped onion, and minced garlic.
While that’s browning, mix together in a bowl: two boxes of Jiffy mix, milk, & eggs.
Blend with an electric mixer just until incorporated. Then, fold in 2 cups of cheddar cheese. Set aside.
Once the meat is browned, add both cans of Manwich and mix together. Bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer.
Simmer on medium low until the flavors are incorporated (about 5 minutes or so). Taste for seasoning and add more if needed.
With an ice cream scoop , scoop all of the Jiffy mixture on top of the meat mixture.
Make it even if you desire by spreading with a knife. Top with cheddar cheese and bake at 350° F for 35-40 minutes. Let it rest 10 minutes and serve! Delicious! Make IT!
