Melissa Jo

Ingredients

  • Sweet dinner sized rolls I use Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1/4 lb. thinly sliced swiss cheese
  • 1/4 lb. thinly sliced sweet deli ham
  • 1/4 lbs. muenster cheese
  • 1 tbsp. of mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. of Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 stick of salted butter melted
  • 2 shakes of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. of each: salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • 3-4 tbsp. of dried minced onions
  • nonstick spray
  • 1 tsp. of brown sugar optional but delicious

Instructions

  • preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • slice open your rolls
  • Spray your baking dish with Pam or any nonstick cooking spray
  • mix together equal parts mayo and dijon mustard
  • Layer on bottom bun: Swiss cheese, ham (make it puffy), muenster cheese
  • spread the mayo/dijon mustard mixture on the top buns
  • top the sliders
  • prepare butter mixture:
  • melted butter
  • seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic powder)
  • worcestershire
  • dried minced onions
  • Optional but delicious: 1 tsp. of brown sugar
  • Brush the butter mixture over the sliders
  • bake at 350 for about 25-30 minutes total. Bake covered with foil for about 15 minutes. Then, uncover and bake another 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and basted with a little more melted butter if needed
  • Enjoy the best sliders ever!

Notes

  • King's Hawaiian Rolls: or any other dinner rolls that are about 2 inches across. If you use my favorite, King’s Hawaiian Rolls, you’ll need a serrated bread knife to slice them through neatly! Here is an option:https://amzn.to/2RDHOAP

  • Pyrex dish: about 13x9 inches: https://amzn.to/3tmYXwx

  • You can pour the butter mixture over the sliders, but for best results use a basting brush: https://amzn.to/3WZFfoU
