Notes
Measuring: I measured everything in the 12 oz. can of Minute Maid concentrated limeade. This drink is super fast and easy to make, so you can get to the business of having fun with friends and family.Tequila: In this recipe, I used a pineapple jalapeno flavored tequila made by Dulce Vida Tequila. Here is the link to the product: http://www.dulcevidaspirits.com/pineapple-jalapeno
If you can't find this particular tequila...ANY tequila will do! Even an unflavored tequila works. Just make sure you add 1 small (6 oz.) can of pineapple juice and muddle 1/2 of a jalapeno in the bottom of the pitcher before you assemble. Then ad the other half cut into rounds to the pitcher. Make sure to carefully remove all of the seeds from the jalapeno. Also, Use gloves! You'll burn your eyes the minute you touch those seeds if not!
Frozen or on the Rocks: I serve this up in a beautiful glass pitcher so you can see the jalapenos and pineapple in the cocktail, but this drink is equally delicious as a frozen cocktail. Simply assemble the same way, but leave out the garnishes. Then, add the about a cup of the liquid, a handful of ice, and a handful of the frozen pineapples in the blender and blend until slushy and frozen. Garnish with a pineapple and one jalapeno round. Glass Pitcher: https://amzn.to/3eYmZcIPineapple: Frozen Pineapple chunks works wonderfully in this recipe, but feel free to use fresh pineapple, as well. Either or both together works. The more the merrier.
