Turkey Breast Gravy 🦃
Making gravy is a skill any homemaker or home chef needs to have in their arsenal. My recipe is going to get you there quickly. However, you have to be brave, grab that whisk, and practice because as we all know practice makes perfect. That is why there's no better gravy than your grandma's gravy! Now, this recipe is also from my grandmother passed down to me and now passed down to you. - ½ stick of salted butter
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- 1 onion chopped
- 5-6 garlic cloves chopped
- Garlic powder salt, pepper to taste
- Worcestershire to taste
- 48 oz chicken broth
- Gravy master until you achieve the color you want
- In a pot add butter onion, garlic, salt & pepper, and saute that for a few minutes until translucent and fragrant.
- Add in the flour and whisk continuously for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes thick.
- Add all of the turkey drippings from the bottom of the pan and inside the bag of the turkey breast you baked using my turkey breast recipe link recipe once it's blogged. Continue whisking that together.
- Then add in the chicken broth and keep whisking. Keep adding the broth until you achieve the right consistency you like.
- Add in the gravy master until you achieve the color you want bring the pot to a boil, lower it to a simmer, and let that simmer until it's nice and thick.
- Serve the gravy over your turkey breasts and Enjoy!
