- Ingredients listed on the back of the cookie mix usually 1 stick butter, 1 tablespoon water, and 1 egg
- 1 can apple pie filling

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease or line a 9×13 baking pan.
- In a bowl, prepare the cookie dough according to the package directions (mix with butter, water, and egg).
- Press about two-thirds of the dough evenly into the bottom of the pan.
- Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar packet from the mix evenly over the dough.
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly on top.
- Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar over the apples.
- Crumble the remaining cookie dough on top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes at 375°F, until golden brown and set.
- Cool at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
