Crockpot Steak & Gravy

Listen, This Crockpot Steak & Gravy that feels like a warm hug, like someone’s grandma cooked it for 12 hours, but spoiler… It’s mostly just your crockpot doing the heavy lifting. We’re layering flavor here, y’all. A little garlic, a little Worcestershire, tomato paste for depth, rosemary for that something’s fancy but not too fancy vibe, and butter. Because everyone loves the Stick Of Butter Rice!

You throw everything in, give it some love (or just a stir and a pat), and let it go low and slow until the beef is melt in your mouth tender and the gravy basically demands a biscuit or some mashed potatoes underneath. Bonus points if you splash in a little red wine, I won’t tell.

This is a no fuss, comfort food classic that just WORKS! Perfect for chilly nights, lazy Sundays, or when you just want dinner to cook itself while you binge a show and live your best life. 💁‍♀️🍷✨

👝 How to Store Leftovers

If you’re planning to cook this on a later date, you can marinate the beef mixture and leave frozen for up to 6 months. But if it’s already cooked the best way to store it would be in a airtight container in your refrigerator for 3-5 days.

🤔 Common Questions

Do I have to use the gravy and onion soup packets?

Listen, I’m all about shortcuts when they taste good — and these two pack flavor without the fuss. That said, if you’re into making your own gravy base, go for it! But for the rest of us: packets = perfection here.

Can I make this ahead of time or freeze it?

Yes and yes. This actually gets even better the next day (hellooo leftovers). You can also freeze it in a freezer bag once it’s cooled — just reheat low and slow so the beef stays tender. Pro tip: make a double batch if your slow cooker can handle it!
