Mini Caramel Apple Pies
Ingredients
- 1 pack Kings Hawaiian rolls
- 3/4 stick salted butter melted
- 2 tbsp white granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 21 oz can apple pie filling
- Dollop of caramel sauce on each
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3-4 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In the center of each roll, cut out a square 3/4th of the way down to make a hole.
- In a bowl whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls getting into the holes and the sides of the rolls.
- Spoon about 2 apples into each hole, making sure to push it to the bottom. Add a dollop of caramel sauce on top of each pie.
- Bake in the oven at 375°F for 10 minutes.
- To make the glaze whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract, until you reach your desired consistency. Add the glaze to a ziplock bag, cut a small hole in the corner, and drizzle the glaze all over the top of the warm apple pies. Enjoy!!
