Pepperoni Pizza Bombs Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 8-12 oz. shredded mozzarella
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder
- 5 oz. quartered pepperoni
- 4-6 tbsp. pecorino Romano
- 1 stick of butter
- Italian seasoning
- 7-8 cloves of fresh garlic chopped
- Parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. Crushed red pepper
- 4-5 tbsp. hot honey
- 2 containers of refrigerator biscuits slightly less
- about 1/2 cup of Pizza sauce
- Additional mozzarella and parsley for topping
Instructions
- Preparing the Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, combine 8 oz. of cream cheese, 8-12 oz. of shredded mozzarella, a sprinkle of garlic powder, approximately 5 oz. of quartered pepperoni, and 4-6 tbsp. of pecorino Romano. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Creating the Butter Seasoning: In another bowl, melt a stick of butter. To the melted butter, add Italian seasoning, 7-8 cloves of chopped fresh garlic, a dash of garlic powder, a sprinkle of parsley flakes, crushed red pepper to taste, and approximately 4-5 tbsp. of hot honey. Mix thoroughly to create a flavorful butter seasoning.
- Assembling the Pizza Bombs: Take the refrigerated biscuits and split them in half. Flatten each biscuit half and place a small dollop of pizza sauce in the center. Add a spoonful of the prepared cheese mixture on top of the sauce. Carefully roll up the biscuit, ensuring the filling is enclosed. Repeat this process for all the biscuit halves.
