Creamy Jalapeno Popper Dip

When it comes to game day or tailgating, nothing gets the crowd going like a hot, cheesy dip straight out of the oven. This Creamy Jalapeño Popper Dip has all the flavors of classic jalapeño poppers — cream cheese, bacon, jalapeños, and plenty of gooey cheese — but in a shareable, scoopable form that’s way easier to make. It’s creamy, spicy, smoky, and absolutely irresistible. I just made this delicious Chili Cheese Dip that also blew me away! If you love tailgating recipes, you’ll also want to check out my Hot Onion Dip — one of my most popular game day favorites!

  • Mix in mozzarella, ¾ of the Colby Jack, fresh jalapeños, diced jarred jalapeños, most of the bacon, and green onions.

  • Garnish before baking: layer the 6 whole jalapeño slices on top, then sprinkle with the reserved Colby Jack, bacon bits, and green onions (down the center).
  • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until hot, melty, and bubbling around the edges.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or baguette slices.
