Creamy Jalapeno Popper Dip
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 container whipped Temptee cream cheese 8 oz
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix 1 oz
- 8 oz block Colby Jack cheese freshly shredded (use ¾ in dip, reserve ¼ for garnish)
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese freshly shredded (all goes into the dip)
- 3 fresh jalapeños seeded and finely diced (adjust spice to taste)
- 4 oz jarred jalapeño slices drained and diced (reserve 6 whole slices for garnish)
- 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled (reserve some for garnish)
- ½ cup sliced green onions reserve some for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Place rack in the middle position. Lightly grease an 8×8 baking dish or pie plate.
- In a large bowl, stir together whipped cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
- Mix in mozzarella, ¾ of the Colby Jack, fresh jalapeños, diced jarred jalapeños, most of the bacon, and green onions.
- Spread evenly into the prepared dish.
- Garnish before baking: layer the 6 whole jalapeño slices on top, then sprinkle with the reserved Colby Jack, bacon bits, and green onions (down the center).
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until hot, melty, and bubbling around the edges.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or baguette slices.
