The secrets in the sauce, but I must say the honey maple turkey paired with the pepper jack cheese and pepperoni is quite delicious! Turkey Chopped Sliders
Ingredients
- ½ cup mayo
- 2 ½ tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- ½ tsp cracked black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp of liquid from the italian mix giardiniera jar
- ⅓ of a head of iceberg lettuce
- ¼ lb deli honey maple turkey sliced thin
- 7 – 8 slices pepper jack cheese
- 25 small sliced pepperoni
- ¼ cup italian mix giardiniera crunchy vegetables chopped
- 1 pack king’s hawaiian rolls
Instructions
- In a measuring cup or bowl add mayo, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, cracked black pepper, salt, and the liquid from the italian mix giardiniera jar. Mix that together until combined. Set that aside.
- On a large cutting board add your iceberg lettuce and give that a rough chop. On top of the lettuce, add honey maple turkey, pepper jack cheese, and the pepperonis. Now, chop that all together into small pieces until everything is incorporated. Add that all into a large bowl. Then, take the Italian mix giardiniera crunchy vegetables, chop them up, and add them into the large bowl with the meat, cheese, and lettuce. Gently toss that all together. Set the bowl aside.
- Now, take your Hawaiian rolls, slice them open, and place them into a 400°F preheated oven just for a few minutes until they are slightly toasty.
- Then, take half of your dressing and pour it into a bowl for dipping. Pour the other half of the dressing into the bowl with the meat, cheese, and veggies. Toss that together until everything is incorporated and add that mixture onto the bottom toasted slider buns. Top the sliders with the top buns and enjoy!!!
