Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 1 large sweet onion sliced
  • 1 tsp of both salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 32 oz ketchup
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 4-5 shakes worcestershire sauce
  • 3-4 shakes tabasco
  • 4 bone in skin on chicken drumsticks
  • 4 bone in skin on chicken thighs

Method
 

  1. In a pan with high sides add a stick of butter, onions, salt, pepper, paprika, & garlic powder.
  2. Let that sauté until the onions are translucent.
  3. Then add in the ketchup, dijon mustard, chili powder, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, and tabasco.
  4. Stir everything together and let that simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Place your chicken pieces in a 9×13 baking dish and season both sides of the chicken with salt & pepper.
  6. Pour half the bbq sauce over the chicken and save the rest of the sauce for dipping.
  7. Bake that in the 375°F for 1 hour. Serve with the remaining bbq sauce for dipping. Enjoy!!
