Crock Pot Pork Roast 🍖
I’ve been making this recipe for years, but in the oven. When I make it in the oven, I have to make sure I cover it very tightly with tinfoil in order for it to come out correctly. A few years back, I learned the benefit of crockpot cooking. Now, this recipe is even easier and more delicious and always comes out perfectly.! It’s super simple and trust me it will be a family favorite! All you need is a Boston, butt roast, garlic, lemon, onions, and a few seasonings and you’re gonna have the best dinner ever! Let’s make it!!
The best part according to my kids is spooning the juices from the crockpot over the rice and the shredded pork on top! It’s truly so delicious and you hardly need any ingredients and most of them are likely in your kitchen as we speak! So get those ingredients out and let’s get cooking!
Juicing a lemon over the pork roast to add extra flavor while it cooks!
This crock pot pork roast came out so delicious, This is the roast before it began it’s long cook in the crock pot. But I promise you it’s so worth it. The time it spends in the crockpot makes the meat so tender and delicious that it just melts into the rice with flavor. I’m not kidding friends this dish is so so delicious.

- Squeeze over the juice of 1 lemon and then quarter another lemon and add directly into the crock pot.
- Cover and set the crock pot to high and cook about 5-6 hours or until he roast is very moist and almost falls apart.
- Serve this roast up over white rice and spoon over the juices on top of the rice and the pork. Serve with a side salad night one! Enjoy!

Notes
- The trick to making a juicy and moist Boston Butt Roast is to make sure it’s room temperature and patted dry of any moisture before even prepping.
- Flip the Boston Butt Roast fatty side in the crockpot. This way the fat seeps down into the meat for the juiciest results.
- I used adobo seasoning in this recipe, but sometimes I add a little packet of Sazon and it’s SO good!
