Notes

  • Pantry Staples: Not only is this cake bakery quality, you can make it with simple pantry ingredients including:
    • all purpose flour
    • sugar
    • baking soda
    • 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple
    • 2 eggs
  • Baking Dish: I lightly grease the baking dish with a nonstick spray. The cake is so moist it will come out of the pan nicely even if you don’t spray or grease the baking dish. However, I like to spray for clean up purposes. It’s much easier to wash the baking dish with a little nonstick spray. I use Baker’s Joy.
