Make ahead breakfast casserole is the best thing to make the night before Christmas and all through the house when not even a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. It’s my tradition to make this breakfast casserole the night before Christmas while my kids are opening presents! Just pop it in the oven before you sit down under the tree and by the time you’re done opening Christmas presents it will be piping hot and ready. Of course, you can make this for any morning whether it’s a special event or not because this is the best meal prep as well or breakfast if you’re having guests over. The best part about this is that it’s going to take you all of fifteen minutes to prep and I promise you the taste is absolutely incredible!

I used the Jimmy Dean hot breakfast sausage, but you can use the regular if you want instead. However, the hot breakfast sausage didn’t add any heat in my opinion, only flavor. Finally, the King’s Hawaiian rolls are the perfect bread for this recipe, but you can use any type of bread you like for this recipe. However, the Hawaiian rolls add the perfect touch of sweet to go along with the savory. Let’s make it!
