Instructions

  • In a pan with olive oil add in ground sausage, chopped peppers, onion, garlic, salt & pepper, and sauté together on medium to high heat.
  • When the sausage is half way done add in tomato paste and brown for about 3 minutes.
  • Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and slice open the Hawaiian Rolls, placing the bottom buns in the baking dish.
  • Start assembling the sliders by first adding to the bottom buns provolone slices, then the sausage mixture (when removing sausage from pan make sure to let the remaining oil drip out before placing it on the slider), then the pepperoncinis, then the freshly shredded mozzarella.
  • To make the sauce combine mayo, mustard, and cayenne pepper. Spread this sauce evenly over the top buns and then top the sliders with the top buns.
  • Mix together melted butter, garlic powder and cracked black pepper. Brush butter mixture over top of the sliders and cook in the oven at 375°F for 15 minutes covered and 15 minutes uncovered. Enjoy!!
