You can’t get much better than sausage, peppers, and onions, smothered in cheese and sauce, and served on a sweet Hawaiian roll. I’ll go ahead and give you my title for the day. Let’s make it!
I have had this Copper Chef Stainless-Steel Titan Fry, 9.5 inch with 8 inch Pan for years and it is my go to pan for all my recipes! I especially use this pan for all my one pot meals because the pan with the lid can go in the oven and it offers maximum heat retention!
I use these Le Creuset Salt Mill & Le Creuset Pepper Mill everyday for my recipes, the color is beautiful!

Sausage and Peppers Sliders
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 lb hot ground Italian sausage
- 1/2 a red and green bell pepper chopped
- 1/2 a small onion chopped
- 3-4 cloves of garlic chopped
- 1 pack King's Hawaiian rolls
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 5 slices provolone cheese
- 2-3 oz freshly shredded mozzarella
- 10-15 sliced medium heat pepperoncinis
- 1 tsp kosher salt & cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp butter melted
- 1 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a pan with olive oil add in ground sausage, chopped peppers, onion, garlic, salt & pepper, and sauté together on medium to high heat.
- When the sausage is half way done add in tomato paste and brown for about 3 minutes.
- Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and slice open the Hawaiian Rolls, placing the bottom buns in the baking dish.
- Start assembling the sliders by first adding to the bottom buns provolone slices, then the sausage mixture (when removing sausage from pan make sure to let the remaining oil drip out before placing it on the slider), then the pepperoncinis, then the freshly shredded mozzarella.
- To make the sauce combine mayo, mustard, and cayenne pepper. Spread this sauce evenly over the top buns and then top the sliders with the top buns.
- Mix together melted butter, garlic powder and cracked black pepper. Brush butter mixture over top of the sliders and cook in the oven at 375°F for 15 minutes covered and 15 minutes uncovered. Enjoy!!
